My name is Charlie Tarr. I am the Founder and CEO.

I would love the opportunity to briefly introduce myself and explain why I have chosen to invest years of my life in developing this platform.

In short, it is so that people like you, can break free from the shackles of financial imprisonment and enjoy the financial independence, which comes from building a property investment business.

I started building my own property investment business in 2008, when I was 19 years old. I have kept building it ever since and have never looked back.

I have faced a great many challenges along the way and in a spirit of continuous improvement, I am constantly learning new skills and making new connections, so I am equipped to handle the challenges that lay in front of me, as I continue to scale the business.

As part of this continuous improvement process, I had the pleasure of embarking on and graduating from Simon Zutshi's flagship Mastermind programme in 2018. In my view, Simon is the best property educator in the country and I am privileged to be able to call him a close friend. For those of you who don't know Simon, he is the founder of the Property Investors Network, author of the number one best selling book Property Magic and also the founder of Crowd Property. If you're looking for best in class property investment training, I would highly encourage you to look him up and connect with his companies.

In addition to being a property investor, I am also a fully qualified software engineer with over 10 years of commercial experience, working in startup environments and developing breakthrough technologies.

I am therefore uniquely positioned to build a proptech business and platform, which will empower people like you, to build a highly systemised property investment business. I have an intimate understanding of both the business and technical challenges involved, as well as the skills required to continuously develop powerful and pioneering solutions.

I wrote the first line of Stacked code in 2017. We officially launched the beta version platform in 2020 and we moved to a public release in 2022.

At the time of writing (21st July 2022) more than 2,000 property investors have come onboard and more than £300,000,000 worth of property is being managed on the platform.

Since launching the business, our engineering team has more than doubled and we're continuing to scale the team, along with all aspects of our operations.

We are committed to a process of feedback driven development, in which we are constantly requesting feedback from our community and using their ideas, to inform our product development roadmap. Whilst I have a deep understanding of the industry and the challenges involved in building a successful property investment business, I realise that thousands of brains are better than one. It is for that reason, that I consider this to be a community led project, in which we're all working together, to continuously improve a platform that we can all benefit from using.
